The 317 acres that is the current Bear River Lodge has a long and storied history, dating back well over 200 years. A summary version of that history is presented in the chapters, below, starting with the original land grants issued in 1796 and working our way up to the modern era. The most recent history, which includes the development of the Bear River Lodge subdivision itself, has its shares of ups and downs of which many of our owners have experienced first-hand.
